These rules ensure that every member of our college community adheres to the principles of justice, accountability, and mutual respect, which are the cornerstones of the legal profession.
General Rules:

Students shall be bound by the Vision and Mission of the College
02.
Students are required to maintain the highest standard of behavior and discipline both inside and outside the college.
03.
All shall strictly observe the disciplinary rules of the college framed from time to time. Non-Compliance with these rules will be dealt by the Principal in the manner as he/she considers fit and his decision in such matters shall be final
04.
Every student shall treat the staff members with utmost respect and dignity and is expected to greet the staff when he meets them on the first occasion of the day.
05.
On the ring of the first bell, students shall assemble in the classrooms and wait silently for the Lecturer. On the Lecturer entering the classroom students shall rise and remain standing till they are asked to sit.
06.
During the class hour, no student shall enter the class or leave the class without the permission of the concerned Lecturer.
07.
Student having no classes shall not loiter in the campus but are expected to spend the time in the library
08.
Every class is in-charge of an Academic Adviser who keeps a close watch on the student’s attendance, progression, conduct and looks after their general welfare. In the event of any indiscipline, the “Disciplinary Committee” of the College will take necessary action

Attendance to the College functions. meetings, assembly, court visit, chamber visit, viva voce, internal examinations, sports meet etc., are obligatory and mandatory for all students
10.
On the occasion of any absence committed by any student to the scheduled period on any working day shall have to present a leave note to the concerned lecturer before attending the next class without fail. Any leave for more than 2 days shall be permitted by the Principal
11.
The college property shall be handled with due care and nothing shall be done to damage it. In case of any damage to any building, furniture, apparatus or any other property of the college, the college authority will take strict action in that regard

Students must keep the college premises and classrooms clean. Writing on the blackboard, walls and affixing posters on the walls are strictly prohibited. All shall make best use of the dust bins provided at appropriate places to dispose waste inside the campus
13.
Appointment of a local guardian is necessary for the students who are accommodated in the College Hostel or Private hostel.

Without the permission of the Principal, students shall not organize any activities or associate with any group not concerned with the College
15.
Every student should possess an ID Card issued by the college which should be produced while dealing with the office or library
16.
Students should follow the dress code prescribed by the College and use of tobacco, alcohol and drugs etc. are strictly prohibited
17.
Students should not give the college address for any personal correspondence. The college will not be held responsible for the loss of any letter or whatever be the nature of the correspondence. Letters to the Principal should be accompanied by reply postage whenever postal reply is desired.

Boycotting classes, shouting slogans, obstructing students to enter classes shall be a penal offence
19.
Ragging is strictly prohibited as per the Section 116 of The Karnataka Education Act, 1983. The Anti-Ragging Committee of the college will take appropriate action against such cases. All Students shall submit an online affidavit in this regard.

Usage of mobile phones/electronic gadgets are restricted in campus
21.
Wearing the uniform is compulsory inside the campus as per the norms of the institute
22.
A student who is found to have committed any act of indiscipline is liable to any of the punishments i) Warning, ii) Censure, iii) Fine, iv) Cancellation of Scholarships/Freeship etc., v) Recovery in part or full of loss or damages caused to the college property or property of others caused by the delinquent student, vi) Removal, rustication or expulsion from the college, vii) Withholding of certificates. Any punishments levied against the acts of indiscipline shall be at the discretion of the principal and whose decision shall be final.

Any damage caused to the College/Property shall be recovered from the delinquent student

A student who abstains from the classes continuously for 3 days shall bring his/her parents and meet the Principal
25.
Any grievances against the College/KSLU should go through proper channels only.

Books/Bags should have a name or mark through which the owner can be identified. Any unclaimed property should be brought to the knowledge of the Principal
27.
Students should involve in all extension activities of the college and attendance will be marked.
Dress Code
Programs
Students shall wear uniform on 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) and other special days as prescribed by the institute. Boys shall wear white full sleeve shirt with collar along with black full trouser having two fleets and black shoes. Girls shall wear white chudidar with collar, 3/4th Sleeves and black colour salwar pant.
Ragging/Eve-Teasing
Ragging, Eve-teasing and/or aiding and abetting the same in any form, mental or physical, inside or outside the Institute is an offence prohibited by law. Mental and/or physical harassment of any student(s) is an offence. Any student(s) found indulging in any such activity shall forthwith be expelled from the institute, without exception

E-Library Rules:
- No Entry without identity card.
- Mobile phone inside the E-Library is prohibited.
- Don’t leave the computer unattended after logging in.
- Students using the system shall be held responsible for any misuse.
- On every usage Sign the access register by specifying the login and logout time.
- Handle the Computer systems with care.
- Contact the staff for any problem with the system
Library Rules:
- Students are required to deposit their belongings at the property counter at their own risk. Library is not responsible for any loss or damage to the same.
- Bringing of bags, files and personal books into the library is strictly prohibited. Use of mobile phones in and around the library is strictly prohibited.
- The library is a place of individual study and research, students should maintain an atmosphere of dignity, peace and silence within the library premises.
- Students should not sub-lend the books and other documents borrowed from the library. Library documents should be handled with utmost care. Writing, marking, making any note on them or any damage is strictly prohibited.
- Group discussion is not allowed in the library, but students are allowed to have the group discussion in the classroom with prior permission and students are permitted to take the library books on their identity card
