Overview

The meritorious students admitted to our institute shall earn ‘Merit Scholarship’ offered by the Corporates under the CSR Projects. The students belonging to reservation categories such as Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes can avail scholarships offered under the National Scholarship Portal (NNP) or State Scholarship Portal (SSP), respectively.

100% of Students belonging to SC/ST categories receive a scholarship sponsored by the Government of Karnataka.20% of our students reduce their costs by working part-time. 05% of students who have earned more than 90% results can try for CSR Sponsored Post Metric Scholarships from the Corporates.   

  1. Application for Scholarship/Financial Aid:
  • Meritorious students with more than 90% aggregate mark in PUC or Degree are eligible to apply for CSR Sponsored ‘Educational Scholarships’ from Reliance Foundation, Fair & Lovely, Tata Trust, Santhoor etc.
  • Students admitted to our institute based on the reservation categories such as Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes, after the approval of their admission by the Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi and upon the fulfillment of the Income and Caste criterion as specified by the Government of Karnataka can apply to Post Metric Scholarship scheme wherein the eligible students can get financial assistance of Rs. 28,000 to Rs. 30,000 for pursuing professional education in any approved Institutions or recognized Universities.
  • Any student who clears all the subjects of the first and second semester in the first attempt by maintaining the maximum percentage of attendance in all subjects of study, having a studious personality, can apply to the management-sponsored fee waiver scheme named ‘Management Sponsored Course Fee Assistance’ scheme. This scheme offers a course fee waiver to one student per year at the discretion of the management. It is a sponsored scheme of the management and cannot be claimed as a right of an eligible student.
  • Students clearing all subjects of the first semester can apply to get a fee reduction as sponsored by the management from time to time. It cannot be claimed as a right of the eligible students.
  • Eligible students can apply to the Annual Financial Assistance of Rs. 25,000 for Education scheme offered to the wards of Beedi Workers jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Labour Welfare Organisation, Shram Kalyan Sadan

 

  1. Scrutiny of the Application:

The received applications shall be reviewed by the respective Institution or Social Welfare Department or University or Government or Corporate entities, as the case may be, to check the eligibility of the application with respect to the applied schemes. The applications meeting the eligibility criterion for the respective schemes will get the benefit.   

  1. Mode of Payment:

All scholarships payable in the form of money shall be credited directly to the bank account of the beneficiary students. No cash transactions are entertained in this regard. Institution-sponsored facilities will be provided as per the decision of the management from time to time.

 

Types of Aid/Assistance

  1. Scholarships: The Institution facilitates students to avail CSR Sponsored Merit Scholarships, Post Metric Scholarships offered through NSP/SSP.
  2. Student Welfare Schemes: The institution provides Management Sponsored Course Fee Assistance Programs and Course Fee Reduction schemes.
  3. Hostel Facility: The institute will facilitate eligible students to avail the free boarding and lodging facilities offered by the Backward Community Welfare Department.
  4. Earn while Learn: Institutions offer part-time jobs to the needy to earn extra income during the period of study.
  5. Educational Loan Facility: The Institution shall facilitate students to avail educational loan facility offered by the Nationalised Banks.
  6. Financial Assistance provided by NGO’s to the wards of SHG members: The institution shall facilitate students to avail financial assistance offered by NGO’s for the children of women members of the Self Help Groups.
